3-4 ripe Haas avocados (large ones) *
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
2 T fresh lime or lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp chili flakes or 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or chipotle pepper powder (optional)
1 medium roma tomato (optional)
*Best way to dice an avocado: Slice lengthwise, open and remove pit. Carefully score a grid pattern in the flesh with a knife and then scoop out the cubes with a large spoon(like a soup spoon).
combine all ingredients except tomatoes in a medium size bowl and mash with a fork, once desired consistency is attained add tomatoes.
